I have set up a page for Walk for Life for First Care Resources. Its my way to help in the pro life cause. I can’t stand outside Planned Parenthood with signs telling people why abortion is wrong and how it hurts women, but I can help with alternatives and education, so women don’t find it necessary to get an abortion.

Actually, I could stand there with a sign, but I am not sure that is my gift. I am much better at helping volunteer by stuffing envelopes, answering the phone and doing the clerical work that frees up the regular staff to work on important things, instead of the busy work that a volunteer can do.

I am also the church liason for the Walk, so in addition to raising funds to help women and children in crisis situations, I will also be encouraging others to walk and raise funds. When the walk actually happens at John Prince Park on Sat. Mar. 20, I will be wielding my paint brush fearlessly and transforming little faces and any pregnant bellies that are willing to be painted.

Come on by and have a good time, and sign up to walk. If you can’t walk, you can rock. There will be rocking chairs as well.

Yes, adults can be painted also.
